Event Formats

EdHacks formats designed to bridge AI innovation with educational practice

8 Hours
EdHack
Intensive hackathon between techs, educators and management profiles. Teams create functional AI solutions and present demos to a panel of juries including startup leaders, edtech leaders, corporate roles and academic tech leaders who select and give incentives to high potential teams.
4 Hours
EdHack Express
Fast-paced hackathon for educators previously trained on AI prompting. Teams create AI solutions using user-friendly tools (no coding required) with tech mentors available on demand. Ends with solution pitches and participant voting for most interesting solutions.
1-1.5 Weeks
EdHack Lab
Extended group work for AI-trained educators creating solutions with user-friendly tools. Teams develop comprehensive AI solutions over 1-1.5 weeks, culminating in presentations to panels of edtech and educational local experts who recognize efforts by creativity and innovation.
Program
EdProduct
A program for teams from EdHack events who want to advance their prototypes into market-ready solutions. Participants develop MVPs and refine their AI tools for public use by educators, organizations or businesses. Teams create comprehensive business plans that define target users, assess market demand, and outline revenue models and cost structures. Promising solutions may be eligible for incubation through accelerator programs.
